The TASER C2 utilizes the same technology used in TASER International's law enforcement models to effectively stun an assailant up to fifteen feet away. The device works by emitting a sophisticated pulse wave utilizing a high voltage leading edge to penetrate up to two inches of clothing, followed by a lower voltage stimulation pulse that causes sufficient neuro muscular incapacitation (an override of the body's natural control systems that affects the sensory and motor functions of the nervous system and impairs muscular control) to leave the assailant helpless long enough for the user to get away.
